View the Gallery / 9 Photos »

The 2014 BRIT Awards were held in London today (February 19) and the event attracted the who’s who of the British music industry as well as a smattering of international stars. The fight for red carpet domination was fierce but heavy-hitters include Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue who rocked a giant bow on her sexy dress and cute couple Rita Ora and Calvin Harris.

Haim added a touch of California chic to the proceedings, while Iggy Azalea underlined her status as a upcoming fashionista in a stunning gown. Gaining attention for all the wrong reasons were Lily Allen, who looked like a villain from a Marvel comic book, and Jessie J. She rocked a figure hugging jumpsuit that was more awkward than awesome.

Who was the best dresed on the night? Have your say in the comments below.

Danja Reveals Two Unreleased Britney Spears Demos & “Hot As Ice” Remix: Listen

Producer Danja revealed two unreleased demos for Britney Spears. Both were informed by the first time he worked with her, on her fifth album Blackout.

Danja says that initially for 2008′s Circus, he aimed for a “raw, edgy, rock vibe” but, after it wasn’t received well, instead went “all the way urban” as he did for Blackout. The resulting demo kicks off with ominous fanfare, as an mid-career T.I. track might have, but then allows room for pleading lyrics: “Boy, why won’t you follow?” (Spears doesn’t sing here, so fans have to imagine how she’d interpret it all.)

His next demo, for Britney Jean, is even better. “I thought we were going do a Blackout 2, so I felt like this was Blackout 2,” he says. It’s as uptempo and energetic as promised, although with its thumping beat, canned-orchestra flourishes and piercing fire-alarm synths, it also feels like “Kill the Lights” – also a Danja production – with even more drama.

Hear Danja’s demos, plus a “Hot as Ice” remix after the jump.

Elizabeth Banks and Diane Kruger Score Fashion Home Runs

Elizabeth Banks graced the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party with her fabulous presence. The 40-year-old actress dazzled in blue at the star-studded event, which was attended by some of Hollywood’s most stylish celebrities, such as Kate Hudson, Emma Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, and Selena Gomez. She gamely posed for photographs and was spotted catching up with friend and Arrested Development actor Will Arnett.

The Catching Fire star’s sartorial choices are always bold and totally unexpected, and her red carpet looks, in particular, are always fresh and interesting. This time, she chose a two-piece outfit from Jenny Packham’s fall 2014 collection, and the result is a fun-and-flirty look that is perfect for a cocktail party. She wore a sequined cashmere crop top and paired it with a wool crepe knee-length skirt embellished with sequins and feathers. Both pieces were in gorgeous shades of blue and complemented her studded minaudi re from Jimmy Choo. She finished off her look with jewels from Graziela Gems and a pair of metallic pumps from Casadei.

Diane Kruger was another stunner at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which was hosted by Graydon Carter. She was joined by her longtime beau, Joshua Jackson, who looked positively handsome in his deep burgundy suit from Berluti.

One of the best things about Diane is the fact that she doesn’t work with any stylist. She knows what she wants, and she always manages to look flawless in outfits that we can only dream of pulling off. At the star-studded bash, Diane looked beautiful in a lace dress from Valentino’s spring 2014 haute couture collection. The gown features a high neck, cape sleeves, sheer Chantilly lace, and a layered skirt. Her hair was styled in an intricate braided updo, which added a youthful charm to her dramatic look.

She put the finishing touches to her outfit with blush pink lips, a stunning diamond bracelet, a black embroidered clutch, and a pair of black heels from Christian Louboutin.
