WATER-BASED METALLIC SHARPIE

photos/post Kristin Ess

Most of you will remember our gold sharpie nail post HERE. The other day we stumbled on an even better nail art tool- a water-based, super-fine metallic sharpie in GOLD! Sometimes it’s hard to get those teeeeeny tiny lines like a legit nail artist can, but we test drove this pen and we’re officially in nail art heaven. We’re currently obsessed with fine-line pattern nail art and can’t get enough of these pens for that reason. The trick to using sharpies for nail art is letting them dry all the way and then putting a clear coat on in 1 or 2 quick swipes. We’ve never had any issues with smudging because of the speed at which we apply the top coat. I usually take an ample amount on the brush and swipe fast and I use this one.

Fashion-forward Accessory Nails

Whether its food or fashion, women enjoy spending top dollar on their favorite item especially when it comes to styles and beauty. Forget about the bag, the shoes, and the lip gloss. At the moment, the most fashion-forward accessory is your nails. The action going on inside the tents at Lincoln Center during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week’s spring/summer 2012 shows proved that nail polish is making its mark on the fashion scene.

one color nail

WOW!! It is difficult to imagine that one color nail would also be so charming and comprehensive. The quality of the nail polish is fantastic and the effect is adorable. The blue ombre is simple but beautiful and is very fit for summer. The black is mysterious and noble, fit for the party or clubs. Purple, I hardly try it, but just looks so charming. And green, fresh and chic, would be great for school or outdoors.
