For some it was all about changing the color. While Demi Lovato went blonde, Dakota Fanning decided to give brunette locks a chance. Obviously, that doesn’t count as crazy hair but then celebrities began to dye their hair in colors not found in nature! Anywhere from lilac to neon pink a new trend was set. Before long, candy color hair was everywhere.

Short Style Bobo Hair

Bob hairstyles are in no danger of going out of style. Many celebrities are continuing to cut off their long locks for chin-grazing bobs and the longer “demi-bobs” or long bobs. In this gallery, I feature the 20 hottest bobs of 2012. But first, a bit of history on the bob.

So who can wear the bob? Anyone with a nice jawline and neck will look good in a bob. If you have a round face, a long bob is a better option for you. As for hair texture, bobs work best on thin to medium hair. If you have curly hair, a bob will turn into a triangle on you, unless you get layers cut in and the ends texturized (see photos of short, curly hairstyles that are adorable) and if you have fine hair, ask your stylist for a “graduated bob,” which are stacked layers cut shorter in the back, longer in the front that give hair needed body and height at the crown.

Short Soft Curly Hair

The first step of short soft curly hair that you want to take in styling is you want to use a nice hydrating shampoo. And the hydrating shampoo is going to create more of a shiny look in the hair to separate the curl. And you want to use the hydrating conditioner to soften up the hair. Especially if you have a little bit gray hair, what it does is it softens it up to create some texture in the hair.

Short, curly hair.
